There were mixed results tonight for two questions on the Roseau School District special election ballot.
The first one, which passed, was seeking voter approval for the school district to retain local tax dollars totaling nearly $450,000 to be spent on capital or facility improvements, rather than sending the money to the state.
The second, which failed, asked voters to support the revocation of the existing $126 per pupil unit operating levy and replace it with a $326 levy.
That would have brought nearly $288,000 dollars for the school district but would have raised property taxes.
