Criminal Charges might be filed in the death of a man hit during the I-94 pileup near Mapleton, ND, on December 30th. Four other people were injured.
The Highway Patrol has finished its investigation into the massive crash, which began when a semi jack-knifed on the road.
Nearly 40 accidents followed, involving multiple vehicles on glare ice in near-zero visibility.
A Walcott, ND, man died from injuries he suffered in the pileup.
The investigative report will be forwarded to Cass County prosecutors, who will decide if anyone should be charged.
