ND man gets 60 years in prison in sex abuse case

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Grand Forks man has been sentenced to serve 60 years in prison for sexually abusing a child over a five-year period.

Forty-three-year-old Gerald Middleton was accused of abusing the girl beginning in 2004. She was 17 when she reported the crime a year ago.

The Grand Forks Herald (http://bit.ly/zOjH1z ) reports that Middleton was convicted at trial last October and sentenced this week.
