Minnesota (WDAY TV) -- Slippery conditions led to hundreds of crashes on roads across Minnesota Friday.
There were 682 crashes between 5 a-m and 7 p-m. 85 people were injured. 190 vehicles either spun out or went off the road. Most of the crashes were in the Twin Cities metro.
One man was critically injured when a train hit the DOT snowplow he was driving, near Kiester. Crews began treating roads in the middle of the night.
