Former Jamestown teacher enters not guilty plea

A not guilty plea today from a Jamestown teacher accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl. Fifty-four year-old Richard Laqua was in court on two felony charges. He's accused of inappropriately touching the girl and sending her sexually explicit text messages.
Laqua resigned as a construction technology teacher at James Valley Career and Technology Center after the accusations. He faces up to five years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines on each felony charge. A trial date hasn't yet been set.
