FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Former North Dakota State University football player and coach Todd Wash has been hired to coach the defensive line of the Seattle Seahawks.
The NFL team says Wash will replace Dan Quinn, who's leaving to become defensive coordinator at the University of Florida.
Wash was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the past four seasons, the past three as defensive line coach.
Wash played linebacker at NDSU from 1988-91 and later had two stints as defensive line coach for the Bison. He played and coached with Casey Bradley, who is Seattle's defensive coordinator.
