The Salvation Army in Grand Forks is continuing its efforts to help people in the earthquake stricken Haiti.
The agency has raised nearly thirty million dollars to rebuild the country.
Locally, it's raised twenty-five thousand to help with recovery.
The Salvation Army has served eight million meals, delivered two million gallons of water and supplied more than five thousand tents.
But the recovery is coming along slowly.
"Buildings have not been replaced as quickly as they had hoped but the Salvation Army along with other international agencies are working now to rebuild and rebuild homes," said Maj. Harold Baugh with the Grand Forks Salvation Army.
Baugh says Haiti wouldn't be where it is today if it was for the support of our areas.
