FARGO – Two people were taken to the hospital early today after a car crashed into a tree in north Fargo, and police are still looking for a third person who was in the vehicle, Sgt. Jared Crane said.
The car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the tree in the 3000 block of Third Street North, Crane said. The crash was reported at 12:14 a.m.
Two of the car’s occupants were walking around at the scene when police arrived. They had no apparent serious injuries but were taken to the hospital as a precaution, Crane said. The third occupant left the scene, and police hadn’t been able to find him, he said.
The vehicle sustained major damage, he said.
