The Highway Patrol says 18 year old Faith Vettleson was driving south on the interstate around 1:00 this morning when she tried to pass a semi-truck in the construction zone. Authorities say they think Vettleson saw another car coming head on towards her and she tried to move back into the correct lane, but hit the semi driven by 29 year old Greg Parsons of West Fargo. The semi rolled and both vehicles ended up in the median. The Highway Patrol says both drivers were taken to the hospital for injuries.

KEVIN ROBSON: "Very dangerous combination, she was not wearing a seatbelt and she was arrested for DUI, those two things in this state far too often get people killed, and I think we are very lucky last night that nobody was killed."

Parsons was treated and released, Vettleson has also been released from Altru Hospital She has been charged with drunk driving.
