MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A Belcourt man has pleaded guilty in federal court to an illegal firearms charge.
Terry Longie is charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. Authorities say he had a .22-caliber revolver and ammunition in his possession while driving a car in St. John in September.
Longie has previous felony convictions for assault with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 25 in Minot. Longie faces up to 10 years in prison.
