A section of a southern Manitoba highway had to be closed yesterday because of a large, impassable snowdrift.

Part of Highway 432 south of Morden were shut down when a snowplow was unable to punch its way through.

Manitoba Transportation says workers will go at the drift today to get the road open.

The department also says mild weather is making some highways slippery due to a frost buildup.
