Special Volunteers Visit Children at Easter Egg Hunt in Grand Forks

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - Children at the 9th annual Easter Egg Hunt in Grand Forks got to visit with special volunteers.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Children at the 9th annual Easter Egg Hunt in Grand Forks got to visit with special volunteers.

Firefighters brought a fire truck inside the Alerus Center. They let kids play with all the equipment, even sit in the driver's seat.

Regardless of age, the fire truck was a big hit with the thousands of children that hunted eggs. Firefighters say it was fun for them.

Delray Huot, Grand Forks firefighter, says, "every kid likes a fire truck. it's entertaining them probably as much as us."

The fire department sponsored the free event.
