We heard from former Sioux Chay Genoway at six about making his NHL debut. Tonight, he showed the state of hockey that he has the tools to compete at the top level. Playing in the season finale against playoff-bound Phoenix, coached by another former Sioux Dave Tippett.

Genoway in the number 47, logged 18 minutes of ice-time, including some time on the power play. He had a few blocked shots and finished even in the plus-minus. He also got into the scoring column in the 2nd, taking it along the far boards, Mikko Koivu takes it from there, and feeds Dany Heatley, who banks it in off the leg of the Goaltender. A former Wisconsin Badger is responsible for Genoway's first point. I think he'll take it. But, Phoenix spoiled the party; the Coyotes score the next two goals in route to a 4-1 win. Genoway was named the 2nd star of the game.
