The Big Sky bound Fighting Sioux held their opening scrimmage, as well.
And while many wanted to see the quarterback battle. The defense stole the show for Chris Mussman's crew.
North Carolina transfer Braden Hanson in his first game-like action, gets his pass broken up by redshirt freshman Rumeal Harris, the D was dominant against the run as well.
Sophomore linebacker Joey Walker had a great scrimmage making a few tackles
and diving in front of this Joey Bradley pass for an interception.
A few plays later the offense gets it's first and only T-D of the day. The five nine sophomore Jer Garman powers between the tackles and into the end zone!
But, this scrimmage belonged to the defense.
