Minto, MN, Man Dies in Snowmobile Accident
Authorities say a 42-year-old Minto, ND, man has died in a snowmobile accident between Forest River and Minto.By: Associated Press,
MINTO, N.D. (AP) — Authorities say Patrick Mach, 42, of Minto, ND, died in a snowmobile accident between Forest River and Minto.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the accident happened about 1:40 a.m. Saturday. The patrol says Mach was thrown from the snowmobile. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say alcohol was involved in the crash. The patrol says Mach was one of four snowmobilers riding on a groomed trail between Forest River and Minto. The accident happened at a point where the trail crossed over a Walsh County gravel road.
The patrol says Mach sustained injuries, although he was wearing a helmet.
