He was brutally murdered nearly two weeks ago, buried two days ago, and remembered by friends in Fargo Saturday. People gathered at Evangelical Church in Fargo to remember Phillip Gatusso. Pastors from the church held a ceremony speaking about who Gatusso was, along with hearing short stories about Gatusso from others in the audience.

People said words like loving, gracious, and caring describe Gatusso, and everyone stressed the important role his daughter, Kennedy, played in his life.

Teaching pastor, Matthew St. John, says, “I’m just getting overwhelmed with phone calls and conversation from people here in the community. He really had a great impact on a lot of folks.

About 200 people attended the memorial.

Gatusso was buried in Louisiana a few days ago.
