UND Celebrates First Spring Commencement Ceremony

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- UND Law students walked the stage and turned their tassel's this morning at graduation.

UND Law students walked the stage and turned their tassel's this morning at graduation. Proud parents, grandparents, and families packed the Chester Fritz Auditorium to honor the graduates. The Chief Justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court, was the commencement speaker. Students say after three long years of studying, they're proud to walk the stage today.

Graduate, Margaret Baune says, "Really really difficult three years but I feel like I'm ready to be done."

Kathryn Rand, the Dean of Law School, says, "This morning we mark the transition of our graduates from aspiring attorneys to members of the legal profession""

The Law School graduation is the first to kick off UND's spring commencement ceremonies.
