Some brave runners in Grand Forks aren't letting winter stop them from getting exercise, all while helping a good cause.
Some brave runners in Grand Forks aren't letting winter stop them from getting exercise, all while helping a good cause.
300 people took to the downtown streets for the 4th Annual Frozen Feat 5k and 10k run/walk.
Racers donated $30 to the Special Olympics of North Dakota, with some out-of-state runners even taking part.
"It's just something we heard about. We're in town for a month and we heard about it a couple of weeks ago and I thought that it would be fun to get out. It's a good way to get out into the community and support a good cause," said Jesse Doll, a runner of the race.
Everyone who participated got a medal for their support.
