Spoilers prepare for State B Baseball in Jamestown

Grafton, ND (WDAY TV) -- The good sports year for Grafton high school is continuing. The Spoilers are busy preparing for the State B baseball tournament this week in Jamestown. Grafton will face Hatton Northwood in the quarterfinals on Thursday, which should be a tough matchup.

Joe Demers, Grafton Shortstop, says, "I'm expecting a good game from them, they have a tough region so I heard they're a pretty good team, have 3 pitchers that can throw strikes, throw hard so it'll be a challenge for us but we're looking forward to it."

Tom Houdek, First base outfielder, says, "I don't see many runs being scored,it'd be nice if we could get a few, have the bats come alive. Yeah, they play good D and pitch the ball pretty good."
