NDSU Considers Smoking Ban
The idea got support from the NDSU Staff Senate last week, on a 35-23 vote.
North Dakota State University is considering a campus-wide smoking ban.
The idea got support from the NDSU Staff Senate last week, on a 35-23 vote.
Staff Senate President Vance Olson says the results are in line with earlier polls of students and faculty members.
NDSU's current policy allows smoking 50 feet away from buildings.
If the University Senate approves a campus-wide ban, the proposal will be sent to the president's office.
