Lake Cormorant (WDAY TV) -- For the first time, she speaks out -- Taryn Erickson, the wife of the man hit in a boat and run on Big Cormorant Lake says her husband is in a lot of pain, and dealing with a lot of anger.

The problem is, he doesn't know where to direct his anger at. Authorities are still searching for suspects, but they don't have much to go on.

Terry Erickson was hit on the Fourth of July, while watching fireworks with his family and a neighbor. Witnesses say a large speed boat plowed into the family's boat, at speeds as fast as 40 miles per hour.

The father of two is at the Hennepin County Medical Center, seriously injured -- with a broken pelvis, and broken leg. His recovery is expected to take at least three months.

Terry was trying to get out of the way, and was hit mid-air as he jumped. The kids were still in the boat.

Taryn says, "when we were in the water they were yelling at us. We were angry over you know they weren't jumping off to help us find out kids. They weren't jumping off to help us, to throw life jackets. They weren't doing anything. They were just looking like they were stunned. They were just looking down on us .It's not like they intended to do this by any means, what's disappointing is they made the wrong decision after it happened."

The boat is described as white or off white with a red stripe down the side. Two people on the boat were a brown haired man with average height and weight...and a thin blonde woman with a pony tail.

If you have any information, call police.
