Thief River Falls: Corner Near River Is Safe

The city of Thief River Falls has decided not to make any changes to an area where Gina Anderson's car may have entered the Red Lake River.
Anderson's body was found inside her submerged car last month.
She had been missing for almost a year.
No one knows for sure what happened. But one theory is that Anderson may have suffered some medical problems and may have driven into the river. Toxicology results from the autopsy are not back yet.
Members of a Safety Committee decided that the existing barriers are sufficient.
