Victims of Accident Near Crookston Facing Long Recovery

The two victims who survived a fatal accident near Crookston last Thursday face a long recovery from their injuries.
23-year-old Jessica Briggs of Crookston remains in critical condition at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
19-year-old Kari Shaugobay of rural Mentor, MN, has been transferred to a Twin Cities hospital. Her condition was not available.
19-year-old Thomas Briggs of rural Mentor and 77-year-old Lawrence Trudeau of rural Red Lake Falls were killed in that accident last Thursday on a county road 4 miles east of Crookston.
Family members have set up Caring Bridge web sites for Jessica Ann Briggs, 23, of Crookston and Kari Michelle Shaugobay, 19, of rural Mentor.
