A University Group Is Making Prom Cheaper

High school girls from all over the area have come to find that perfect dress for prom.

The University of North Dakota's Non-profit leadership student association collected used prom dresses for the community to sell for an affordable price.

Each dress was under $75 ranging in sizes and styles.

Girls came from all over the valley to find that perfect dress.

Organizers say it's a good feeling to help those who can afford an expensive dress.

"It's so much fun to find her something that really looks good on her, she feels comfortable in and now she will be able to have a really good time at prom and not be stressed out," said NLSA member Allyssa Hieb.

All profits from the prom dress sale are being donated to St. Vincent De Paul of Grand Forks.
