Timberwolves learn the hard way
Losing streak growsBy: Jon Krawczynski , Associated Press
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The young and rebuilding Minnesota
Timberwolves are quickly finding out that learning on the job is a
painful experience.
The Timberwolves have started a new regime under president David
Kahn and coach Kurt Rambis this year. Both have said on many
occasions that this season would be about educating a team that has
10 players who are 25 or younger.
So far, the youth is showing. The Wolves have lost eight games
in a row after winning the season opener against New Jersey. And
things seem to be getting worse: The Wolves have lost the last
three games by a combined 87 points.
