Crookston $4,000 Closer to Dog Park

A $4,000 donation could be particularly fetching to one group hoping for a dog park.
The 'bark for the park' project aims to put a dog park in Crookston now has a total at a little more than $14,000.
This is slightly more than the original goal.
It started over a year ago and could soon have about a one acre spot in Castle Park.
The park could open in 2010 or as soon as next fall.
When it is done, one woman said it will unleash some 'doggone' good benefits!
"They've been to the ones in Grand Forks, so they know how valuable they are..not only to animals, but to people as well. It's a great social interaction for dogs and people," said Gina Carolan with Bark For The Park.
Fencing for the park will cost just over 13-thousand dollars. If you would like to donate to this project, you can send money to:
