Manvel, ND, Man Sentenced to 30 Days in Pizza Theft Case

A Manvel man who stole food from a grocery store in Grand Forks and then pulled a knife on an employee will spend 30 days in jail.

A Manvel man who stole food from a grocery store in Grand Forks and then pulled a knife on an employee will spend 30 days in jail.

53-year-old Robert Newark was arrested at an apartment building near the South Washington Hugo's in October.

Newark was stopped outside the store by an employee when he pulled a knife and ran away.

Newark was sentenced on a terrorizing charge. A theft of property charge was dropped in a plea agreement.
