Bond Set for Grand Forks Man Accused in Baby's Skull Fracture

Judge Sonja Clapp barred 25-year-old William Hoehn from having contact with his son and set his bail at $2,500. Hoehn faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Bail has been set at $2,500 for a Grand Forks man accused of fracturing the skull of his infant son.

Judge Sonja Clapp also has barred 25-year-old William Hoehn from having contact with his son.

Hoehn is accused of injuring the child in early January. Authorities say the boy is no longer in the hospital and is not expected to have long-term health consequences.

Hoehn faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted. He's due back in court March 30.
