ND CLASS B BASKETBALL: Minot Ryan Beats Standing Rock 68-52

MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Minot Ryan rode a 29-point second quarter to a 68-52 win over Standing Rock in the consolation round of the North Dakota boys Class B basketball tournament on Friday.

The Lions (22-4) led 10-8 heading into the second quarter but took a 39-23 advantage into halftime.

Taylor Schwan and Ben Magnuson scored 19 points each for the Lions. Both had 13 points at the break.

Magnuson had five of Minot Ryan's nine 3-pointers and added eight rebounds.

Kirby St. John paced Standing Rock (12-15) with 15 points. Marcus White Bull had 11 points and seven rebounds and Eli Agard added 10 points for the Warrior
