VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota delegation is traveling to Denmark to learn about that country's efforts to develop a cellulosic ethanol industry.
State Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and Greg Ridderbush with Great River Energy are leading the group.
Great River Energy is involved in plans to build a cellulosic biomass refinery east of Jamestown. Construction could begin in 2012.
KOVC radio reports that state lawmakers and Jamestown's mayor are part of the 22-member delegation. The group plans to return Sunday.
