BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency said it's sending a planning team to North Dakota to provide technical assistance for flood preparations and to help identify resources that may be needed.

The three-person team will work with the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services in Bismarck.

Regional FEMA Administrator Robin Finegan has visited North Dakota to meet with state, tribal and local officials about flood preparation. The agency also sent specialists to some communities in February to discuss flood insurance and flood preparedness.
