FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Justin Ledger's reverse layup with less than 1 second to play lifted Bismarck Century to a 53-51 win over West Fargo Thursday in the first round of the North Dakota boys Class A basketball tournament.

Ledger wound up with the ball after Jon Pistorius missed a free throw with 11 seconds remaining for the Packers (15-8). Ledger drove the baseline and put up a reverse layup that broke a 51-all tie. West Fargo did not get a shot off before the game ended.

Ledger finished with a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Patriots (20-3). Carson Wentz and Tom Fraase had 10 points each.

West Fargo was led by Grant Ringdahl's 20 points and nine rebounds.

West Fargo shot just 24 percent from the field.
