Savage, MN, School Fire Appears 'Deliberate'

SAVAGE, Minn. (AP) — A fire that forced the evacuation of an elementary school in Savage apparently was set in a boys' bathroom.
A spokeswoman for the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District, Ruth Dunn, says firefighters responded about 8:30 a.m. Monday to Harriet Bishop Elementary.
Dunn tells the Star Tribune the fire appears "deliberate." She says students and staff members have been moved across the street to a fire station. Parents were allowed to pick up their children there.
No injuries are reported.
