Todd Iverson in East Grand Forks seems to have both and an impressive winning streak that does not seem to be going away.
"(I was)just throwing the ball and it all worked," Iverson said modestly about his wins.
It worked long enough to get Iverson a perfect 300 score at the end of a game in February. About a week later he got another perfect 300. Then again after another week. Then, week four equaled a fourth perfect 300.
"To do four of them in 26 days is a feat I don't think anyone has done around here," said Liberty Lanes owner Pat Gaddie.
Cheri Iverson/Wife: " Getting a 200 game is probably good for us, and we are amazed by that, let alone 300. That many in that short of period of time is pretty cool," said his wife Cheri.
"I've got friends congratulating me saying, 'It's amazing.' To me it is just bowling." Iverson said.
It has been since he picked up his first ball at age five. He learned a valuable technique in the 36 years since.
"Repititions, repititions, repititions. Keep on throwing," he said.
He kept throwing. An hour after the interview he bowled his fifth perfect game; nine days since his last.
