Former Grafton Stockbroker Haugen Pleads Not Guilty to 31 Counts

Ross Haugen pleaded not guilty to all 31 counts of sale of unregistered securities, acting as an unregistered broker, and fraudulent practices. Authorities say Haugen defrauded Walsh County clients out of $3.5 million.

Ross Haugen pleaded not guilty to all 31 counts of sale of unregistered securities, acting as an unregistered broker, and fraudulent practices.

The court set two trial dates for those charges on September 12th and November 7th.

Haugen was granted weekly check-in's to the Walsh county Jail instead of daily.

Authorities say Haugen defrauded Walsh County clients out of $3.5 million.

Friday the judge issued an order finding probable cause after both sides gave written arguments along with several days of testimony in court.
