An emotional Zach Gabbard was wheeled out onto the Williams Arena court prior to Perham's game against Virginia at the state basketball tournament.
Cameras were huddled around the tunnel where Gabbard made his entrance. He followed his Perham teammates after they took the court. He was wheeled around the court by his father, Steve, to open warm ups.
Fans clapped for Gabbard, who hasn't been seen since he collapsed Jan. 20 during a game at Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.
Gabbard, who was dressed in all black, will be on the sidelines as Perham looks to win its first game in school history at the state tournament.
