GF/EGF Boy Scouts Collected Food For Local Food Pantries

The Grand Forks Boy Scouts Pack 120 are collecting food for their annual food drive for local food pantries.

The Grand Forks Boy Scouts Pack 120 are collecting food for their annual food drive for local food pantries.

Thursday, scouts placed door hangers on homes in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks asking for donations that are being picked up Saturday.

The scouts hope to collect up to 14,000 pounds of canned goods and paper products.

All the food goes to local food pantries.

"It's fun, and that's the whole thing of Cub Scouts. It's fun to see other people be happy. It helps other people to make them happy and makes us happy too," said a scout with Pack 120.

If you would like to still donate, the scouts ask you to donate at your local food pantry or Gate City Bank.
