FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A man charged in the armed robbery of a North Dakota bar five years ago pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges Monday and won't serve any new time behind bars.
The Forum reported that 52-year-old Jerry Lee Rose pleaded guilty to menacing and theft of property as part of a plea deal in Cass County District Court. He initially was charged with robbing a bar in Wild Rice south of Fargo.
Rose was sentenced to a year in jail and given credit for time spent in federal prison. Rose is serving six years for robbing a bank in Kent, Minn.
