Mentor, MN, Cabin Severely Damaged in Fire

An unoccupied cabin caught fire in Mentor, MN, Monday causing severe damage. The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the fire broke out at 14887 Maple Inn Road at around 5:15 p.m.

An unoccupied cabin caught fire in Mentor, MN, Monday causing severe damage.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the fire broke out at 14887 Maple Inn Road at around 5:15 p.m.

No one was injured in the fire.

The owners of the cabin reside outside of the area.

Investigation of the fire by the State Fire Marshall's Office is continuing.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office, Mentor and Erskine Fire Departments and County EMS ambulance responded to the fire.
