Valley City Sandbag Goal Rises Again

VALLEY CITY, N.D. (AP) — Officials in Valley City once again have increased the number of sandbags they hope to stockpile to prepare for possible Sheyenne River flooding.
The Times-Record reports that the goal that rose from 50,000 sandbags early in the week to 75,000 on Wednesday has now been increased to 150,000.
The city is likely to keep its sandbag-filling operation running through Saturday and again on Monday.
