Grand Forks Helps Fight Homelessness
A project called Homeless Connect has come to Grand Forks today for the first time. It brings together different non-profit groups and government agencies to help those who are homeless.By: David Schwab, WDAZ
Thirty organizations including the Salvation Army, Northland rescue Mission, and social service agencys set up booths at Hope Church today in Grand Forks.
All are organizations that can help homeless or near homeless people get back on their feet.
This provides many people a fast track to assistance to help they might not otherwise know what available.
