EGF Hugo's Gets Off-Sale Liquor License

Thanks to the East Grand Forks City Council, a grocery store will be able to sell alcohol during the week.

Thanks to the East Grand Forks City Council, a grocery store will be able to sell alcohol during the week.

The council voted unanimously to give Hugo's an off-sale liquor license.

Hugo's spokesman Doug Driscoll has said customers have liked having liquor stores connected to the company's nearby stores in Grand Forks.

They plan to remodel an area within the store, and set up a separate entrance.
