The city of Grand Forks along with East Grand Forks closed the Point Bridge Friday as the Red River rises.
The bridge on Minnesota Avenue was closed to traffic at 10 a.m. Additional closures might become necessary.
The National Weather Service says the Red could reach around 51 ft. by April 12th.
The bridge closure affects Cities Area Transit, changing schedule times. If you have questions call 701-740-2600.
