Grafton Man Pleads Not Guilty to Negligent Homicide

A Grafton man has pleaded not guilty to two counts of negligent homicide in the deaths of two people in a minivan-motorcycle crash in Walsh County.
John Klava was driving the minivan on highway-81 north of Minto in july when it crossed the center-line and collided head-on with a motorcycle driven by 52-year-old Bryant watts of St. Thomas.
His wife Cynthia was a passenger on the motorcycle.
Both of them died in the crash.
Klava pleaded not guilty to the charges.
He faces up to 5 years in prison on each count if convicted.
