BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The sheriff's department in Burleigh County has been busy ticketing drivers who still use roads that are closed because of flooding.

Lt. Steve Hall said 99 people were cited from Friday to Monday afternoon.

He told the Tribune that most of the citations involved roads closed by flooding on Apple Creek.

Hall said the closed roads are clearly marked, either by signs or by barricades.
