North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple and FEMA officials will be visiting Grand Forks, Pembina and Neche to tour flooding and flood fight efforts.
Along with Dalrymple, FEMA Regional Administrator Robin Finegan, State Engineer Todd Sando and director of the State Homeland Security Division Greg Wilz will be attending.
The group will meet with Grand Forks city and county officials at the Grand Forks County Emergency Operations Center at the Grand Forks Police Department from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Local officials are expected to attend as well. City commisioners, county commissioners, city and county emergency and public safety personnel and other city and county staff will take part in the meeting.
Following the briefing, Dalrymple and the group will tour Grand Forks' flood protection system and some of the overland flooding in the county.
The group will head to the Neche, ND, Fire Hall to meet with city officials from that town and Pembina from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
