Riders Claim State A Volleyball Title
First since 2003
MINOT -- Grand Forks Red River won the championship match of the North Dakota Class A volleyball tournament Saturday with a 3-1 win over Bismarck Century.
The scores were 25-22, 25-20, 20-25, 25-21.
Emily Asche led the Riders with 15 kills while Katie Ronkowski added 12.
The state championship is Red River's first since 2003.
