Criminal mischief in Grand Forks is on the rise.

Since March 1st, Grand Forks Police have responded to 31 complaints of broken windows to businesses, homes and vehicles caused by BB guns, marbles, bricks and rocks.

Police are not overly concerned about the rise in incidents.

"It's certainly more than average amount that we would see at this time we are unsure if they are related to one another. That's something were still looking into," Sgt. Brett Johnson with GFPD said.
