The Louis Murray Bridge in East Grand Forks was reopened at 4 p.m. Monday. The bridge, which links the North Side and Point areas of the city, was closed on April 12.

Point residents previously had to use the Mallory Bridge off of U.S. Highway 2, significantly adding to travel times.

The cities have not announced when the Sorlie and Point Bridges will reopen. Testing began Monday on the Sorlie Bridge and is expected to last for a week.
