MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The State Patrol says two people were killed on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis in a head-on crash involving a wrong-way driver.
The crash happened just before midnight Tuesday and temporarily shut down part of the interstate. Troopers say a car entered the eastbound lanes of I-94 going in the wrong direction. Within minutes the car crashed into another vehicle head-on. The drivers of each vehicle were killed.
KSTP-TV reports the male drivers were from the Twin Cities area.
